The Federal Institute of Metrology METAS is the the Swiss Confederation’s Competence Centre for Metrology. We guarantee the accuracy, traceability and comparability of measurements in Switzerland. In doing so, we create the basis for innovation, safety, fair trade and trust in everyday life.

To implement the overall strategy of the Federal Institute of Metrology METAS, METAS is pursuing three strategic sub-strategies.
