Data Security Examination
Based on the Electricity Supply Ordinance (ESO ), METAS-Cert is introducing data security examinations for intelligent measurement systems from 1 July 2019. The examinations are based on the protection requirements analysis for smart metering in Switzerland .
The data security guidelines for intelligent measurement systems were drawn up based on the protection requirements analysis (main document, annex 1, annex 2 ). The test methodology is published by the Swiss Smart Grid Industry Association (Swissmig).
METAS-Cert is implementing the certification programme based on the existing principles. You can find information and documentation relating to data security examinations by METAS-Cert on this page.
Data security guidelines - (expected 1 May 2019)
Application form - (expected 1 July 2019)
