General Secretariat FDJP

The General Secretariat creates the conditions that allow the Head of Department, Beat Jans, to fulfil his tasks within the government and vis-à-vis the public. In other words, it initiates, plans and coordinates the department's activities and prepares the material that is to form the basis for decisions that have to be taken on government, parliamentary or deparmental business. The General Secretariat supports the departmental offices in the planning and the achievement of their objectives.
