In Europe, legal specifications exist for the majority of measuring instruments used in trade, commerce, public safety, health, and environment protection. The certification body METAS-Cert provides manufacturers of measuring instruments with the required conformity assessments for the placing of their products on the market. |
Within the scope of the CE labelling of measuring instruments, types and patterns as well as management systems for production are examined according to the effective directives and ordinances. Conformity assessments according to other directives (e. g. on a national level, OIML) are provided as well. Type evaluations and certifications are carried out professionally, reliably and efficiently!
